Beach season 2018 – Santa Elena – Paragliding
The Libertador Bolívar commune, in the parish of Manglaralto, province of Santa Elena, has a seawall of 4,790 square meters. In this work there is an area of 3,844.76 cubic meters of protective stone wall, another of cyclopean concrete.

The municipal representative said that this work seeks to protect the coastal strip of the town and thus avoid the flooding of this sector by water and waves. The idea of this construction is to incorporate more actively the 4,000 inhabitants of this town in the province of Santa Elena, promoting sustainable tourism, near the Ruta del Spondylus. Libertador Bolívar also offers a view of the sea – which is the coastal area – with the practice of paragliding.
The Municipal GAD of Santa Elena and its Municipal Tourism Company have prepared two events that, under the name of Santa Elena del Mar Carnival and the Earth, have the participation of the comuneros and their food, handicrafts and entertainment enterprises.
The first event will take place on Sunday, February 11, in the Libertador Bolívar district, with a party that will include a parade of allegorical cars from 10:00 to 18:00, the election of Miss Turismo and a lively musical show with a Colombian group. of genus vallenato.
